GREAT place to salmon fish on the Pulaski River! It is worth the extra money to get away from the crowds in the public access locations. Guides and staff are excellent and very helpful. We stayed at the Estuary Lodge and fished the DSR property for three days the week of Oct 8. The fish were running well, and we almost limited out every day. So worth the extra money to get on the property and avoid the crazy crowds. We've gone to the DSR and stayed in one of their lodges three years in a row, and next year we will be back. Highly recommended.

Was definitely worth the 5AM line wait if you don’t have a membership. Great private fishing and well worth the day pass!! Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of action and it’s really mandatory to fly fish to really get the enjoyment of it.

Most workers are wonderful. A couple are a bit much. Prices are getting a bit to much. Vip is frustrating. Like seriously. You can not buy tickets. The website is a failure for purchasing them. The location is nice and clean, and we will return.

The best fishing experience I've ever had, it even topped my 3x to Alaska. The office staff and rangers were exceptionally friendly too

Great fishing! Great staff! Absolutely love this place! Don't believe the bad reviews. Fishing is just that...fishing. That's why we don't call it catching. Ask the staff when you arrive where the fishing is the best and what the best technique is to catch them. They are always glad to help.

I had the pleasure of fishing at the Douglas Salmon Run recently, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We coordinated through Dave Rockwell, who connected us with John Meeks — and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. John, along with his father, welcomed us warmly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They took the time to show us around, helped us pick out the proper gear, and supplied hooks, rods and baits , and even guided us to a more secluded spot so we could enjoy the fishing without the crowds. Their knowledge, hospitality, and genuine passion for what they do made the entire day memorable. I highly recommend the Douglas Salmon Run with the help of John Meeks to anyone looking for a professional yet relaxed fishing experience. Huge thanks to Dave, John, and his father for making it such a great trip.

Absolutely worth the money. Jeff at the counter got me hooked up with a local guide and I had the time of my life. Caught tons of fish. DSR is definitely a nicer way to fish the salmon river. It's clean well maintained and respectful fisherman. I will definitely be back again.
